There are constant distractions around us, opportunities coming our way, and forks on the road.
How do we constantly make decisions that influence our trajectory daily?
It’s not easy, especially when our sights are set on something bigger than ourselves. Maybe you’d like to start a non-profit funding a million underprivileged students to get a full ride to a post-graduation experience.
Meeting goals and aspirations require us to build every day, brick by brick.
The old saying goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day. It most certainly wasn’t! But, I can tell you it was built brick by brick every day.
First, before you start building your house, you need to know where you’re aiming. What’re you building?
I’ll share with you what I’m building first. I am working with my team on creating the University for Human Impact. We want to inspire a million people in their 20s to find a fulfilling career and lifestyle they can go to bed feeling great about.
Brick by brick. It’s easy for me as a visionary to want to build the castle in one day. Yet, that’s not how it works. If we reached a million people in one day or one month, we would have a flimsy structure.
Ask any construction worker; the foundation of the house is the most crucial part. If you don’t have a strong foundation, how do you expect the place to remain standing during these natural disasters?
Brick by brick.
Before we dive into the finished details of your project, you need to know what you’re building.
Otherwise, you’re going to build multiple houses in one, and it’s going to collapse.
That’s why people quit so often. They don’t know what they’re building or working towards.
What are the grand aspirations you are building brick by brick?
And how can I help you achieve those aspirations?
